Having a goofy, hyper-religious brother can be a real pain in the Baldwin, but not if you’re the smart Alec and your brother is so busy worshipping the ground you walk on that mistakes you for the messiah, you’ve got all the makings of a dream come true. Noted Bible nut Stephen Baldwin appeared on “Larry King Live”, but gave up anything but the dirt.

Since the younger, significantly less talented Baldwin isn’t out promoting a movie or book right now, unless you count the Bible, which very few do, viewers expected his appearance would be more interesting, even if not sensational, but the Biodome sub-star wouldn’t give it up.

Baldwin kept deflecting any semblance of a question with, “Ooh, not allowed to talk about that, Mr. King… Love you Larry, can’t talk about any of that stuff… Can’t talk about any of that, brother… I’m just here to support my brother the best I can.”

Stephen supports his brother and believes in him no matter what, and that’s a good thing up to a point. When you know something bad has happened and you’re still supportive, all I can think is he’s trying not to be stripped of his last name. Without that, sadly, there’s about three Baldwin’s who’ve got nothing left to hitch their wagon.
