Former “Spice Girl” Melanie Brown already named her one-month old baby after comedian Eddie Murphy, almost as if she was getting ready to launch a paternity suit or something. Low and behold, you won’t believe it, she’s done exactly that. Brown alleges Murphy has refused paternity testing, but it’s only been a few weeks, so it’s not exactly like he’s had all the time in the world.

Brown told Extra, “I don’t know what happened and I still don’t know what happened. We had a few little disagreements and things that we were working though, but I didn’t think for one second it was completely over — my main thing now is I want him to be a responsible parent. This baby was planned and he knows it’s his — this is what’s mind-boggling. [The newborn baby] can’t speak, she can’t defend herself, and I’ve got a situation where I’m dealing with a father who won’t do a DNA test, who wont sign the birth certificate. So, now I have to go through lawyers and I think it’s really sad.”

Murphy told a reporter last year that they split up and that he wasn’t sure who the father of her child was. Also, he didn’t say it in the voice of Donkey from Shrek fame, even though that would have been awesome.
