Two of the biggest names in American cinema, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, have announced that they will team up yet again for a new film called “Righteous Kill”, according to an announcement from its producers on Friday. There details haven’t been too generous, but the ink is already drying on the contract with Los Angeles film company Millennium Films, which promises to cast them as police detectives hunting down a serial killer.

Both acting legends have won Oscars, but they have not appeared on-screen together since the 1995 epic “Heat”, which was hailed by critics much like their co-appearance in “The Godfather Part II”, though they weren’t actually on screen at the same time in that film.

The two celebrated actors have a combined age of 130 years, but underwriters seem unconcerned about it, and filming is expected to begin in July or August of this year in Connecticut or New York. No release date has yet been announced.
