O.J. and his entourage, oddly similar in number to a starting lineup, were kicked out of a luxurious Louisville, Kentucky steakhouse, and it wasn’t just because of the intimidating way in which he wielded a sharp knife. He refused to serve the former football legend and star of “The Naked Gun” last week because he was bothered by Simpson’s behavior following his acquittal in the killing of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her too-close-for-comfort friend Ron Goldman.

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, the group had just sat down in a private room when owner Jeff Ruby asked them to leave. Ruby reported he was “sickened” by O.J.’s appearance, especially after the opportunistic inspiried book deal and television interviews promoting “If I Did It”, his highly-criticized tell-all detailing exactly how he actually committed the gruesome murders.

Jeff Ruby told reporters that “[O.J.] continues to torture the lives of the families whose lives he ruined. This was the only thing I could do for the victims’ families.” Simpson saw it differently, as he has through much of his life, and a representative on his behalf has claimed the dismissal was racially motivated, apparently unaware of the sign on the wall reading, “We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone”.

Simpson’s attorney, Yale Galanter, told the Courier-Journal that Simpson discriminated against, and that he’s considering asking authorities to revoke their liquor license and may also file a lawsuit, saying, “He screwed with the wrong guy, he really did,” presumably meaning that he will soon be killed in a convolutedly plain murder.

The race claim carries little merit however, since Michael Jordan dined in the restaurant on the same night, and the fact that Ruby he had served Simpson numerous times in the past, and even has a celebrity photo of Simpson on the wall.

It’s reported that when O.J. and his party left, fifty other restaurant patrons “stood up and applauded.”
