Nicole Kidman has already proven she’ll marry a man regardless of what he’s worth, but this time she’s going to remake the movie that made Marilyn Monroe famous. It was reported Friday that the Oscar winner’s Blossom film company is working on the film. She already showed how to marry a short, famous, lunatic, so why not a millionaire this time around?

The Australian actress, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in “The Hours”, will next star in science-fiction thriller “The Invasion” and “The Golden Compass”, and will produce, and may also star in the film with her eyes wide shut, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is expected to be a modern adaptation of the 1953 classic that helped propel Monroe to stardom. Hopefully she’ll also have a storybook romance with a sitting president, and hopefully not die. No word yet as to whether she’ll do a terrible, fake American accent.
