Lousy Actor Fred Thompson Quits “Law & Order” for Lousy Presidential Run

C-Rate Hollywood actor Fred Thompson has tentatively decided to run for president, of all things, of the United States. According to his political adviser, he has quit the TV crime show that might not have renewed his contract anyhow, so he can potentially create an imbalance in the primaries, though not make any serious run for the white house.
The conservative 64-year-old Thompson, twice elected as a Republican senator in Tennessee, will now try like hell begin raise money against powerhouses like McCain, Giuliani, Clinton and Obama, just to name four of the twenty others in the field. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia is also weighing campaign options, but if you think Fred Thompson is an unpopular choice, you should try being Newt Gingrich.
Thompson was first elected to the Senate in 1994 to take Al Gore’s seat when he became vice president. He maintained a solid conservative voting record, and has since served five seasons as a New York District Attorney named Arthur Branch.
