It’s not like the internet isn’t sure if it’s cocaine or cociane, but a quick search on Google will show without a doubt that the web doesn’t know how to spell the sometimes drunk, often drug addicted, reported man-izer and star of “Freaky Friday”. It seems for as much that we can’t get enough of the “Herbie the Love Bug” Lolita, we also don’t know how to spell her name.For the record, the correct spelling is “Lindsay Lohan”, with the “a” in the first name.

Google her name correctly, as “Lindsay Lohan” and you’ll find 25.2 million results. Search it spelled the more common way as “Lindsey Lohan” and you’ll get even more, fully 28.5 million results. If you search by the most obscure spelling, “Lindsy Lohan”, you’ll still get fully 90,000 results.

The media used to be famous for fact checking, but now it seems they don’t even check for correct spellings of names, and neither do the web media world at large.
