Joey Buttafuoco and Amy Fisher Flirt with Non-Criminal Limelight, Oddly

Convicted kiddie pedophile Joey “Only-Mostly-a-Mobster” Buttafuoco and his former teenage mistress, the failed murderess Amy Fisher, the infamous “Long Island Lolita” are wiggling their way back into the limelight once again. This time it isn’t for any crime worse than attempted peddling of terrible television in the first degree. Attempted murder and statutory rape is bad, but it isn’t bad television, but this thing promises to fill just that gap.
Amy Fisher served just seven-years in the big kids’ slammer for blasting Mary Jo Buttafuoco in the face, while her chubby, oddly interesting beau Buttafuoco slid by with a meager four months in jail for the statutory rape he so giddily imbibed in.
Amy has since been married (though her hubby has filed for divorce), and Joey is now in the broad wake of his second broad’s awakened divorce. Since Joey has only been in jail a scant three times since then, for an assortment of stupid crimes, including soliciting a prostitute, what is there left to do?
They’ve shot a lover’s reunion pilot, and now they’re apparently pitching it to the networks, to the chagrin of everyone except for those same networks’ executives. No more “Celebrity Boxing” for Buttafuoco to beat up girls, he’s going to do it in the real world instead.
Calls to the networks have gone unreturned as of press time, so no confirmation of the project has been received, but either way it’s pretty sad.
