An adoption agency in Burma announced Monday that they have “serious concern” that Angelina Jolie, celebrity wife of Hollywood A-List actor Brad Pitt, may be adopting children from around the world for the sake of having transplant-ready organs lying in wait.

“We have not received any request from [Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt], but we have been notified by another agency of the possibility that they are only adopting children so they will be at the top of the organ [sic] donation list, if she needs an organ… we have taken steps to make certain her name will red flag our systems [sic] if she tries… to adopt a child from Thailand,”

said a government official, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Although there are no serious health problems known of Angelina Jolie, her mother did die of cancer earlier this year, putting her at an disproportionately high risk of sharing this same fate.

Bob Ennis, a senior executive and lifelong smoker in Seattle said, “If you know you’re going to need a lung, and you won’t qualify like me, you’d be crazy not to adopt a dozen kids so you know you’ll have a [safe, viable tissue] match.”

Representatives for Angelina Jolie declined to return calls prior to publication.
