David Faustino Gets One Charge Dropped, Not the Other One So Much

In a place that’s actually, literally, no joke, called New Smyna Beach, Florida, a charge of disorderly intoxication against David Faustino has been dropped, but the all growed up child star man who played Bud Bundy on “Married with Children” is still staring a drug charge in the face. Charges were dropped Tuesday because Faustino’s arrest May 12th was apparently sufficient punishment for the first charge, according to Linda Pruitt, a spokeswoman for the State Attorney’s Office.
Faustino’s lawyer, Michael Rodriguez, no relation to lazy eyed Michele Rodriguez, talked down the drug charge Wednesday, saying: “It’s not the biggest charge in the world,” but he still faces misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession, punishable by up to a year in prison. He pleaded not guilty, and the trial has been scheduled for July.
Police noticed Faustino, 33, and his pretty hot, pretty wife Andrea, 31, at an intersection on May 11th. Faustino tried to climb out the car window, then opened the door, then tried to walk away when police confronted them. The officer reported the smell of alcohol on Faustino’s breath and found a plastic bag with roughly one gram of marijuana in his pocket, according to police.
Faustino was arrested, booked into Volusia County jail and released the same day without bail. The bud smoking Bud has since filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences, as celebrities always do.
