According to reports, publishers are lining up to bid on Britney’s book rights, with a price tag upwards of $10 million, assuming the project actually exists. Spears reps haven’t commented on the rumors just yet, but if she’s willing to drip an ounce of truth from her salivary chops, the diva could tell-most and still tell more than anybody else. Between the Federline issues, rehab, everything the tabloids have shown, shaving her head, boob job rumors, fat therapy stories and problems with both her mother and father, the story would easily fill a half-dozen volumes.

According to a less-than-reputable unnamed source cited by Star magazine, “She feels Kevin just pretended to love her for the money and a music career. When that sunk in, she was so heartbroken that she wanted to kill herself.” Also stated by this un-named, but perhaps legitimate source, was that, “Britney will call [her mother] a ’stage mom from hell’ and blame her for almost every ill in her life. She’ll say Lynne’s money hungry and that she was just along for the free ride. Britney thinks of her as a meddling, smothering person and blames her for her messy marriages.”

According to the New York Post, magazines Vanity Fair and Allure are in a bidding war to secure the first official print interview with Britney following her recent 10-round bout with trouble, controversy and a fresh array of tabloid headlines.
